Here is a progress shot of the Floater piece I've been working on. At this point, I'd say it's about half-way finished. Lookin' good! :D
This was filmed at the end of October, 2011, and was a complete blast for my very first commercial appearance. Despite the early call time of 7am at PDX airport, and the 12 hour day of filming, everything went super smooth with minimal to no hang-ups.
Mrs. Lavenda Memory (the woman playing opposite of myself) was a complete joy to work with, the production company was great and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Even the makeup and wardrobe crews were great to kick it with. It's so cool to see the end product of a complete amalgamation of random shots and takes after they've gone through the process of edits and sequencing into a final, cohesive whole. I've got to thank my agent at MUSE models for hooking this one up. Thanks, Darren! Here's just a little notice for all those who chance upon this here little blog o' mine: I will be showing some of my paintings at this rad gallery called The Gallery Zero off of 34th & Belmont in Portland, OR, for its Winter Holiday Show on Saturday, December 3rd (that's two days from now!), 2011. There will be a helluvalotta artists with some giant, in-your-face paintings; all contained within the gallery's stimulating, signature blood-red walls. Please stop by, if you see this posting. You can get more information at the gallery's website: www.thegalleryzero.com.
